If you aren't yet familiar with Matt Robertson,
Below are a few comments from a couple of renowned western music artists you will know:

"I am fortunate enough to meet a lot of new talent as I tour, but am rarely as impressed as I was with Matt Robertson. Western music is more than a cowboy who can croon, it is about telling the story of the West with strong songwriting, a compelling stage performance and quality music production. Matt brings the whole package to the table. I predict Western music will gain unbelievable momentum in the next ten years and that Matt Robertson will be a big part of that wave."
                 ----Mary Kaye, Manti, UT

"Your new album, 'The Voice,' is really a professional sounding album and I feel that demonstrates you are definitely a force to be reckoned with in our genre. Your songs are authentic and it certainly comes across in your fine delivery of them."
               ------Tom Hiatt, El Cajon, CA

Matt Robertson is a singer/songwriter whose music clings to the roots of the western way of life he loves and lives. Traditionally it's cowboy, musically it appeals to crowds old and young.
In the fall of 2012 Matt released his second album 'The Voice,' which is a compilation of easy-listening, heart-felt songs ranging from almost gospel to ballads of the western lifestyle. Through songs like 'Horseman' and 'Kickapoo' he describes the close bond between horse and rider, while songs like 'Good Times' and 'Cowboys Wife' describe a cowboys desire for 'Living the Dream.'
A Wyoming native who now lives in Alberta, Canada, Matt has performed at cowboy gatherings and other venues throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Wyoming and Arizona. Matt recorded his first album, 'The Old Roan Horse' in 2009, after winning the 2008 Rising Star competition at the Kamloops Cowboy Festival, in Kamloops, B.C. Matt's lyrics are shaped by real life experiences gained from rodeo, cowboying, ranch work, horse training and farrier work in Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota and Alberta.
