What Others Are Saying:

“Your CD arrived safely and was listened to before the sun set. I must say I give an A+ in all phases of songwriting, for lyrics, instrumentation and vocal excellence. Barry, your voice was superb. Of course, I have listened to you perform several times and knew your voice, but I must say your tone quality was richer than ever and your interpretation of the songs was professional to say the least.

You have written some very fine songs. The subject matter was broad, and true to the Western theme. There isn’t a weak song on the CD; in fact, they are all typical of the songs that are being written by the best songwriters today….It isn’t often that I am impressed with the CDs sent to me. ..Thanks for the great CD. Barry, keep doing what you are doing. If this recording is an indication of your writing and vocal future –it’s very bright!!!” ~ Jack Hannah, Sons of the San Joaquin

“Barry has captured the spirit of family and faith in his albums. Hope you enjoy his heart and his music as much as I do.” ~ Lon Hannah, Sons of the San Joaquin

“The first time I heard Barry Ward, I became a fan. He has that great voice and songs that are interesting and ring with sincerity. What really struck me was his captivating presence on stage – that’s something you don’t run across very often.” ~ Denise Withnell, Cowboy Celtic

“Barry Ward has a lot going for him, not the least of which is credibility. Barry is right at home behind a saddle horn, the steering wheel of a combine, or a microphone. He knows about what he sings. Barry grew up on the family ranch, “west of Dodge.” He wrote most of these songs. They’re his songs. No one else could have written them. The man and the music areone….and they’re both good.” ~ Orin Friesen, Operations Manager Prairie Rose Chuckwagon
